Our plant/warehouse has been operating in our current location since 1972, where we occupy approximately 30,000 square feet, at 372 Richmond Street West in Toronto. Our warehouse space affords us the ability to create and maintain stock programs when required/requested, thereby minimizing delivery lead times and uniform shortages at the customer’s end.
The establishment of a stock program helps to minimize lead times and uniform shortages. With the cooperation of the City, the most commonly used sizes are determined through analysis of previous annual usage for each garment. Once this is determined, Outdoor Outfits shall maintain a minimum of the annual volume (this often lies between 10-20%), in various sizes with a mixture split up proportionally to the annual requirements by size/type, as requested by the City. The City will be committed, when nearing the end of the contract term, to purchase the held inventory (up to the percentage as set out at the beginning of the stock program).
If a stock program is in place, remaining stock will be tallied on a monthly basis. If numbers are found to be under the amount agreed to between the City and Outdoor Outfits, a production will be initiated immediately to bring stock back to the agreed levels and keep delivery lead times at a minimum.
